Welcome to the 2024 Box Lacrosse Season. If your player is interested in trying out for one of our 'A' teams (U13, U15 and U17), please read the documents below for our policies and expectations, as well as, a statement from our Club President.
In order to give all players interested in playing on an ‘A’ level lacrosse team a good look, and in an effort to streamline the tryout process, Rocky View Lacrosse will hold initial tryouts for those athletes wishing to tryout for an ‘A’ level team.
To cover the additional floor rental, a non-refundable fee of $75 to tryout for ‘A’ teams for U13, U15, and U17 will be assessed.
Initial tryouts will take place in January. Players will be notified of their floor times, dates and locations before January 15th.
Any player wishing to tryout for an ‘A’ team must complete a declaration form and pay the $75 non-refundable fee at the time of registration (either by credit card or E-Transfer). A player will not be allowed to participate in the ‘A’ evaluation process unless the tryout fee has been paid and declaration form signed. Declaration form can be found under the 'A' tryout package in your registration portal.
All "A" players must make lacrosse their priority, be committed to their teams and attend at least 85% of practices and games.
