2012 ‘A’ Division Tryouts
Declaration Information & Fee Notice
In order to give all players interested in playing on an ‘A’ level lacrosse team a good look, and in an effort to streamline the tryout process, Rocky View Lacrosse will hold initial try-outs for those athletes wishing to tryout for an ‘A’ level team.
To cover the additional floor rental, a non-refundable fee of $25 to try-out for
‘A’ teams for Novice, Pee Wee, Bantam and Midget will be assessed.
Initial try-outs will take place in March 2012. Players will be notified of their floor times, dates and locations before the end of February 2012.
Any player wishing to try-out for an ‘A’ team must complete a declaration form and pay the $25 non-refundable fee at the time of registration (either on line by credit/debit card or with a separate cheque made out to Rocky View Lacrosse). A player will not be allowed to play on an ‘A’ team unless the tryout fee has been paid.
Any players not available for the try-out dates may be excused with a valid reason. Any player missing any of the tryout dates must notify the associaiton via email at coach@rockyviewlacrosse.com and provide a valid reason.
Players will go directly into scrimmages and are expected to show up fully equipped and ready to play a scrimmage lacrosse game. Please note that these try-outs are preliminary; cuts will be made after the initial sessions and further evaluations of the smaller groups in each division will continue with team selections finalized by mid-to-end of March 2012.
Cheques or money orders are to be made out to Rocky View Lacrosse Association or RVLA. A separate cheque is required for each player registering if the fee has not been paid on line by credit card or debit. No post-dated cheques will be accepted.
All “A” players must make lacrosse their priority, be committed to their teams and attend at least 85% of practices and games.
